Shopping: Academy Award Sale

Since I live in California, I just can't seem to be able to avoid running into anything Hollywood and Academy Award related. The relationship between me and Academy Award went sour since 1999. I hate watching E channel or those pre-award shows. Yes the fashion, the dress, the glam and the lime light are extravagant, but I feel like they are a bunch of people who use the awards to make them "it."

Sorry for dragging and being so bitter about it. Sundance Film Festival, Cannes Film Festival or maybe even Chinese Film Festival is more likely to excite me more than the Academy Awards.

Back to my topic of the day, shopping online. You can hate the ceremony as much as you want but you can’t deny that there are many quality films out there that got nominated and so worth to own in DVD.

Check out Barnes and Noble special for this Oscar season.

These are some of the movie that you have not watched it; you should take this opportunity to own the DVD or even rent them.

Casablanca. If this western classic movie doesn’t turn you on, you need to become a nun.

Rosemary’s Baby by Roman Polanski. Yes he is a pervert but the movie before all hell broke lose is awesome.

Ordinary People. Even the list of the cast will make you shiver.

All About EVE.
