Art: The Museum of Latin American Art presents Murals by the Masters



These spectacular outdoor night-time presentations focus on Mexico's most famous artists and are sure to create a magical evening for singles and families alike. Using special projectors and interlocking slides, murals will be projected life-sized on a 1,800 square foot wall of the Museum. MoLAA's Murals Under The Stars series presents colorful and world-famous artwork by Frida Kahlo, Diego Rivera and Rufino Tamayo under the night sky.

Art: Art Crawl

It's a biological fact that some things go inside our bodies, and other things come out. But "Into Me/Out of Me," on view at P.S.1 Contemporary Art Center, doesn't spare the gruesome details. The exhibition includes work by over 130 artists who have, together, spent the past forty years probing the inner reaches, outer extremities and other ins-and-outs of our anatomy. I love them all and I have to read these blogs on daily (sometimes hourly) basis but sometime you just want to turn your head other way and pretend that you are not intesteded in what Britney Spears are wearing or drinking or why Jessica Simpson is so perky.
