So I discovered some new music over the weekend that I absolutely love. Well, these albums have been out for a while, but they're new to me. And I'm feeling pretty good about making legal music purchases these days. :)

And btw, the soundtrack to Sex and the City is pretty good. I think Volume 2 is better than Volume 1, but they both have some good tracks.

How to look forward to every day of the week

It started with Champagne Thursday (as seen in Failure to Launch, an otherwise mediocre, sad excuse for a movie). I've decided to rename the weekdays according to the appropriate cocktail.

Martini Monday - This one is important, because Mondays usually SUCK. Just think of the olives...they will get you through the day.

Tequila Tuesday - Which happens to go perfectly with Taco Tuesday happy hour specials at many Mexican restaurants near you.

Wine Wednesday - Because red wine is good for you. Just ask your doctor and any european person.

Champagne Thursday - A great way to inject a little fabulosity into your work week.

Freestyle Friday - Anything and everything goes. Get the weekend started right.

I desperately looking for Lula. No she is not my friend or sister..well kind of way she is..She is a fashionista friend who I always go to if i want some fashion inspiration. I went to book store right by my house several times but I have not seen her. Have anybody see her on the newstands? Maybe its time for me to subscribe to her. Maybe i will do that.

Have not had time to help Daria blog this duo project for a while. I honestly feel a little guilty. I see that she has been posting her shopping activity and her ipod playlist. I decided to jump in and help her make this project/blog more happening. Sorry Daria. I love you!

I just got paid and paid my heavy rent a couple of days ago.I then put some money away in my hidden saving account along with my Roth and Trad IRA/Stocks and I am left with $50 to shop for Summer must have item (notice that it is a single item wa wa wa). I went on Polyvore last night and look for an item for this year must have Summer item. I saw this really cute sandal on several websiteS. My goal is to spend $50 on a cute sandal for this Summer. Will i be able to do it? Let's wait and see!

Sephora product reviews: Kat Von D and Urban Decay

Yesterday my Sephora order arrived, and I had to share the fabulosity.

First, unwrapping the Kat Von D eyeshadow palette filled me with the sort of glee Charlie Bucket felt finding the golden ticket in a Wonka bar. I guess I'm a sucker for packing. It came wrapped in tissue paper inside a matte black box. And the compact itself is lovely!

I immediately had to start playing with the colors. The two slim brushes that come with it are great for applying the color in exact areas, such as the brow bone or the inner corner of the eye. Although for richer, broader application I had to use a more traditional eye shadow sponge. The colors are just gorgeous! I especially like the soft sparkly yellow and deep purple.


I also have to mention a second product that I mainly purchased to get free shipping on the order. It was the 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Bourbon from Urban Decay.

I'm loving this eyeliner. The color is soft & shimmery and it really does glide on like butter! It goes on like a liquid with the precision of a pencil. I'm planning to buy several more colors in this line.

I have an online shopping addiction

And I need to be stopped. Luckily, payday arrives tomorrow to save the day.

But seriously, I couldn't help it. This eyeshadow palette from the new Kat Von D collection at Sephora is so fab!
